This guy is a bully and he needed to be tamed. So this mistress used her slaps to do it and she made sure he would never do it again. The mistress cruelly faceslapped him and ensured that he had red marks on his face and that he regretted what he had done. When she let him go, he ran away as fast as his feeble legs would carry him.
